Cask@ Gallows Bird, Real Ale festival 2016. Pours near black with a thin off white head. Roasted malts, cocoa powder, plummy aroma. Flavor has roastedness, cocoa, dark chocolate, and some vanilla in the finish. Quite stuffy, heavy porter.
