Bottle. brown color. Malt and just a hint of smoke in the aroma. Maltflavor with hints of roast and smoke. Caramelly sweet. Hint of butter. Nice dunkel.

Das Dunkle vom Landshuter Brauhaus, vom Faß im Freischützen ebenda. - Kastanienrotbraun (was sonst), klar. - Im Antrunk mild dunkelmalzig mit etwas Kakao und gekonnt abgestimmter, leichter und zart zitrusfruchtiger Herbe. Gut rezent, schlank, leicht mineralisch. Knapp malzbitterer, schwach hopfenherber Abgang. - Schlankes, mild fruchtig-herbes Dunkles, sehr süffig und angenehm, obwohl ohne Tiefgang.

Aroma: Fruity sweet with caramel and malt. Flavour: Very caramel sweet with notes of dark berries and very little bitterness. Colour: Amber with a white head.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkel rötlichbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, nussig, Karamell. Geschmack röstmalzig, leicht schokoladig, nussig, leicht würzig.

Der Antrunk ist süßlich-volmundig. Der Hauptteil ist etwas flach, aber dabei schön leicht-röstmalzig und zum Nachgeschmack hin ganz leicht herb. Auf der Zunge bleibt eine angenehm herb-süßliche Röstmalznote, die sich auch noch lange auf der Zunge hält. Leckeres Dunkel, aber insgesamt etwas laff.

500ml bottle [5.4% abv according to label]. Clear amber colour with average stable frothy white head. Aroma is grainy, caramel malty almost touching the milk chocolate region and has an hay note scratching on the edge to bitter hop. Smooth; monotonous malt taste lacks gravity, bitter hop interlude.

Bottle 500ml.[ Courtesy of Nightfall ]. Clear medium orange amber colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, caramel, sweet malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweey sugary malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120331]

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is roasted malty and light breadish. Breadish, light bitter and roasted malty. Dry and bitter finish.
