Ist Dir das Leben auch zu süß?
IPA (India Pale Ale). Leuchtende orange-goldene Farbe, feinporiger Schaum.

Bottle looks good, name is nice too. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Fruity aroma. Starts intense hoppy, quite fruity like peaches and apricot. Finish milder with notes of lemon. A nice one!

Bottle courtesy of koelschtrinker, vielen dank! Deep and clear golden color, small but thick white head, solid lacing. Aroma of subtle white pepper. Taste is bittersweet lemon and straw. Plain.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, amber colour with a slightly tanned medium-sized blond foamy head. Cara-malty, slightly bready and biscuity aroma with an exotic-fruity and slightly piney hoppy touch. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Mildly (cara-)malty base with a good dash of aroma hops, which are mainly fruity and slightly piney, also giving the brew the moderately dry character; dry-ish and moderately bitter finish with an exotic fruity tang. A pleasure to see these efforts in Germany. 24.II.12

33 cl bottle @ home, 01/2013
Aroma is fruity and grassy with hops. Also some gooseberry bush. Flavour has lots of grassy hops - and almost nothing else. Some caramel and biscuits though. Nice and hoppy - but a double IPA with 6,5% ABV? Really?

330ml bottle. Clear copper/amber coloured with small half-decent stable yellowish-white head. Fruity and slightly woody hop aroma, orange, coniferes. Taste dangles between act and potency: Some really good IPA components are detained to evolve to perfection by the remnants of typical German brewer virtues. Concrete: Another example of a German IPA on a felicitous malt basis that could attain a much better score if they only had used different aroma hops. Nevertheless, already on a good way.

Bouteille: Clear, deep golden, medium -sized and relatively quickly collapsing off-white head, decent dry leafy-piney hoppy nose with a fruity-caramelly base; dryish bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; piney hops and balancing sweet malt in the finish. Really good…

11/9/11/10/8/11
