(bottle, purchased at the brew-pub) Clear, amber coloured, effervescent hue with a big, slightly off-white foamy head. Moderately sweet, nutty and toasty malt aroma with spicy herbal and lightly grassy hops and discreet notes of caramel and barnyard in the background. Medium-sweet flavour, light bodied, very soft on carbon. Toast-malty, nutty taste with a tinge of caramel and faint fruity notes; almost dry sweet-bitter, slightly toasty finish with light but pleasant herbal notes. Smooth and easy going Franconian Landbier.
