From 75 cL bottle thanks to dr Bill. Pours murky brown with an unclean brown speckled tan head. Aroma is light woody and mild acidic. Seems oxidised. Flavour is mild woody, dark fruity and with light acidic touch. Mild spiced too. Ends with a woody and oxidised note. Past it’s prime by far, but nice to try!

Bottled at Petalax Beer Festival. Lightly hazy amber, lively head. Yeasty winegum aroma with lemongrass and coriander. Sweet, citric and juicy, dense and very lively with underlying fruitiness. Champagne-like and elegant with herbal, somewhat resiny bitterness.

Bottled. Hazy ambery brown colour, small white head. Aroma is spicy, barnyardy and also has some grains and earth in it. Flavour is spices, barnyard, yeast, mould and some fruits carrying it up. Nicely balanced and very complex.

Pours deep amber into a tulip. Tan head recedes at a medium pace with spotty lacing. Aspirin and lemon aromas. Smooth earth and leaves and a tangy, lasting lemon/aspirin finish.

Bottle. Very nice barnyard aroma - hay, earth, apple cider, vinegar. Cloudy ornage brown with gigantic head. Slightly sour/tart earthy apple cider flavor with hint of orange and moderate acidity. Smooth. Another great beer from Fantome.

Cloudy sediment-laden brown body, thin/medium creamy beige head. Complex aroma, estery, with wood and spcie (a touch of clove, pepper) in addition to apple, dark fruit (primarily grape), toffee and bread. Appley flavor, with grape, toast, and plenty of estery notes (crackers, pepper, musty earth), a bit woody/tannic too. Fruits and spices are well-balanced. As the beer warmed it became a bit phenolic (plastic, band-aids), which was disappointing for thankfully not overwhelming. All in all another solid Fantome beer.

Hazy golden coloured, creamy white head. Ground cherries in aroma, composting leaves, like soil. Really automnal! In mouth, sour cherries with peaty notes, orange peels and horseblanket. Lighter bodied, but refreshing, and complex. Managed to bring auton tastes. Bottle at l’Autre Oeil, 18$. Still, a good deal!

Bottle. A little sourish aroma. Quite cloudy orange colour. Dry, sourish flavour. I guess I can taste a little malt in the aftertaste too.

Bottle Amber body, white fizzy head. Complex aroma of grapes, wine, apple, ... Just a great aroma, perfectly balanced!! Lightly sweet, moderately bitter initial flavour. Moderately bitter finish. Sourish notes too. Very tastful. A typical Fantôme beer. A very lively and evoluating flavour. Rather than a simple initial flavour and a finish, this beer offers you a lot of flavours while drinking it.
