We’ve partnered with our pals at The Scottish Bee Company to create our latest high vault-age sour; Blackberry Raspberry Heather Honey.

200 kilos of award-winning Scottish heather honey from over half a million bees creates a sweet aromatic sensation in this modern sour beer. Bold and juicy fruit makes the perfect pairing for honey sweetness and our sour beer base, creating a perfect balance, and a smooth, viscous mouth feel.

Keg at BrewDog Cambridge, 19/07/22. Raspberry red with a good sized crimson cap. Nose is raspberries, honey lozenge, light herb, sweet malts, berry pips. Taste comprises bitter sweet berry compote, lighter honey presence than the nose suggested, berry pips, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a tangy berry climax. Not bad ... doesn't drink like the stated 9%.

Keg at MSBH. It pours cloudy bright pink - purple with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, bright, tangy, raspberry jam, fizzy cherry cola bottles and general filth. The taste is smooth, slick, bitter - sweet, juicy, candy, tangy, raspberry gunge floral, honeyed cereal, spice, warming alcohol, cranachan and good times with a smooth, raspberry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Rounded and moreish.
