courtesy of ibrew2or3. Pours clear brown with brown head. Aroma is yeasty with very light notes of chestnut. Taste of light roasted coffee, light tartness and nutty. Notes of chocolate and faint wood presence with fruity mouthfeel. Another great beer out of Italy.

Black beer, with greige head. Coffee, oak, wood lactic, fruit, vinous and milk chocolate. Beautiful flavour, with all the former aromas repeated in the taste. Very mild lactic acid. Well oily, full bodied, alcohol warming. Beautiful, refined product.

Bottle. Blackish beer with a small tan head. Roasty, chocolate, light fruity aroma. Very fruity (grape, maybe some cherry) with backing roast and chocolate. Medium bodied - very drinkable. Lingering fruit, light chocolate, caramel, and a bit of oak. Well balanced with good intriquing background flavors. Refined.

Bottle from cdumler. Thanks, Chris! My first Italian brew! Pours dark, dark brown with a reddish tint. Medium head. Aroma of funk and toffee. The funky oak comes through strongly in the taste. Tannins, oak, sour cherry. Almost like a wine in character. Scrumptious!
