Bottle #86 of 200. Pitch black and opague. After a desperate fight of more then 10 minutes I managed to empty the bottle in a glass. Malt, milk chocolate and roast in the aroma. Full bodied. Creamy mouthfeel. Alcohol, ash, chocolate, dried fruit. Sweet, not too complex but very pleasant and surprisingly drinkable. Well balanced! Thank you kappldav123!

Sehr dunkelbrauens, fast schwarzes Bier mit geringer bräunlichen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr röstmalzig, Kaffee, Schokolade, holzig. Geschmack intensiv röstmalzig, holzig, Kaffe, Schokolade, leicht alkoholisch.

Süß-malziger Beginn ohne Alkoholnoten. Wenig Vanille, geringfügig nussig, leichte angenehme Süße. Trocken, zum Ende laffer werdend. Schade, denn das Bier war auf einem guten Weg! 10/10/10/8/11/10

Sampled from bottle thanks to Countbeer. Very dark brown to black color, small to average sized, fully diminishing off-white head. Aroma is moderately malty, caramel, lightly hoppy, sweetish and some flowers. Taste malts, flowers, sweetness, lightly roasty. Too bad all flavors are almost instantly gone after swallowing, no finish flavors at all. Medium body and low to medium carbonation.

Sample from bottle (generously shared by Countbeer, thanks!). Deep dark color, not quite opaque. Aroma’s: soy sauce, very soft, chocolate, some wood (?), raisins. Flavor is medium sweet, soft. Low carb. Medium bodied. Flavor lingers, but no new taste.

Thx to countbeer! Amazing imperial stout with some vanilla, chocolate, roasty and coffee. Aftertaste is quite short though. The beer isn’t watery at all, but the aftertaste somehow is. Silky texture.

Bottled 250ml (PBF, alc. 10%)
Opaque black color, not much head. Very light head, light oak and toasted notes. Medium to full-bodied. Flat, oily mouthfeel. Lots of licorice, some vanilla. Sweetish flavor, some alcohol. Cough syrup candy.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Bottle #200/200) Pitch black colour with traces of disappearing bubbles around the edges. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate, coffee, liquorice and hints of soy sauce. Well balanced. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate, creamy coffee, dark rye bread, raisins and a smooth, well rounded finish. No hop bomb, but with a distinct coffee/cocoa bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, but with a slightly watery texture considering the abv. Well balanced and very tasty.
