Straw colored with a thin, frothy head of moderate duration. Aroma a combination of lemon lime and mixed grains. With a bit of time, a sweetened white bread aroma comes into the mix. Taste is bitter, but also quite tart and citric at the finish. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Interesting. Competing flavors and aromas, and yet lacking harmony and complexity. Drinkable

500ml bottle. Hazy, dark yellow-ish to orange golden colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Grassy and citrusy fruity, slightly tropical fruity, hoppy and slightly grainy, wheaty, malty aroma, hints of mango, lemon, a touch of straw, nectarine, minimally waxy overtones, slight muesli character overall. Taste is grassy, bitter and slightly tropical fruity hoppy, sweet-ish, grainy, strawy, pale and slightly wheaty malty basis, diluted hints of mango, nectarine, orange, some hay. Creamy-watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Feels a bit like a Zwickel and NEIPA cuvée, grainy and grassy aspects on one side, some plain hop bitterness as well, on the other hand creamy aspects, some tropical fruitiness; can't deny its origin and may therefore be rubricated as U(pper)F(ranconian)IPA - a bit rough and rural.
