Heck half my rating is done because of the name. It IS pale, and it IS sour! Hazy yellow, just barely gold, thin sheet of white head. Smells of unripe grape sour. Taste is lighter on malts, solid but not overwhelming crisp grape sour. Decent.

Draft at 8 Degrees Plato. Pours a clear gold with a finger of white foam that dissipates. Green apple, pear, honey and light grain aromas. Mild tartness...Apple, honey & lemon flavors. A touch of lacto, muscat. Easy drinking.

Not bad, strong citric-berry tartness mixed with sourdough, peach, and an underlining grainy sweetness. Spicy carbonation leads to a lingering yeasty fade. Nothing flashy, but pretty tasty.

Pours pale yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of lactose. Taste has slightly citric notes, light grass. Palate has yeast notes. Eh.

$3.49 bottle, WM. Pale gold, slight haze, dusting of a white head. Lemon zest, light yeast, light bready aroma. Flavor is yeast, lemon zest, hint of orange peel, bread crust. Salty? Or is it that horrendous Chinese food I just ate? This beer's definitely better than that was.

Tap at kleine duivel. Hazy pale golden, off-white cream. Hay and fizzlesticks, light chalky, chewy sparkly mouthfeel, dry milk and citric acid, pleasant acid finish.

28 April 2019. At Zythos Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke, 77ships & tderoeck! Clear pale golden, lasting, thin, foamy, white head. Aroma of gooseberry, lemon zest, sourdough, lactic acid, unripe apricot & yellow apple. Taste is medium fruity sour, offering unripe yellow fruits on a yeasty, wheaty & lemony base, a bit lactic, bitter tones of grass & wood, ending dry, a bit tart, more yellow fruit & lactic acid with only subtle floral hops. Medium body, slick-oily texture, soft carbonation. Could have had a bit more depth but it’s decent already.

Ever so slightly hazy golden and yellow blonde coloured body with a noticeable, but quite quickly fading pure white head that starts at a centimetre tall and barely coats the beer ten minutes later. Aroma of pure funky yeast strains with a dose of coriander seed, light banana peels, some tart brett or kettle soured notes and a touch of light fruits, but aside from that - it's all about sour funky foeder oakiness that smells like some good brewing processes. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal notes at first with a ton of oak, dry grain, light coriander seed and bubble gum notes with a lot more funk derived from the yeast strain. Aftertaste is crisp, dry and very complex with the yeast, tart fruits, light grassiness and a herbal and tart flavour that hits especially towards the end, with most of the complexities coming seemingly from the yeast. Overall, a very nice and respectable beer with a ton of flavours throughout showing the funk and grassiness very cleanly, but also some of the other supportive characteristics that make this complex. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Harris Teeter in Arlington (Pentagon Row), Virginia on 04-December-2018 for US$1,83 sampled at home in Washington on 21-April-2019.

330 ml bottle. Honey gold pour. Small firm white head. Tart minerally malt aroma. Sour fruit flavor upfront. Notes of unripe plums and kiwi. Light bodied and flavorable. Yeasty stone fruit notes in finish.
