440ml can from the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear golden colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is malt and surprisingly light citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a yeasty, malt, dry chilli spiced palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A basic lager with added chilli. Refreshing and it works well.

(Bottle) Pours cloudy pale amber yellow with small loose white head. Fresh aroma with lemon and pine, and hints of ester. Light body, somewhat fizzy. Tangy, lemony, fruity start. Taste rather collapses in the mid palate, and then some bitterness develops; it’s a bit harsh but there’s some interesting notes in it. Definitely drinkable, but for me a bit fizzy and a bit harsh to be sessionable.

Schooner on tap at Town Hall hotel, Newtown. Pale yellow beer with thin foamy white head. High carbonation. Nose is fresh lemon zest. Fizzy and fruity with an interesting finish of light malt and yeast. Easy-drinking, refreshing and (as a previous reviewer said) Coopersy.
