Bottle. Clear amber with a small white head. Aroma features that trademark Einbecker flavour of grass, metal and skunk that I actually quite enjoy and wee bits of malts, honey and herbs. Taste of grass, malts, some toffee and caramel with hints of red fruits. After having read the label I am believing to detect faint traces of sherry. Dry and herbal finish. Very strong carbonation. Watery mouthfeel. Ok.

Bottle from the Kalea beer advent calendar 2019. Clear dark amber red colour lasting cream thick head. Some juicy malt. Some good berry fruit. Some light hop on the end. Rather a lovely amber lager. Some sweetness. Good I thought.

19th Nov 2018. Monthly Share Group meeting in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury, only three of us this time. 33cl bottle; BB 24th Sep 2019. I brought this to the table. Bright amber pour, wispy white head. Sweet malty brew with some toffee notes in both the aroma and taste. My sweet tooth liked it.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Nov 18. Thanks to Jeremy for this. Pours clear copper, white topping. Aroma is largely caramel bock malt. Straightforward bock character overall, medium carbonation not sure of any wintery aspect. Seems below average for the style.

Wenig würziger, herb wässriger Beginn. Schwach getreidig, dann wieder wässrig. Einen Ticken malzig. Unspannend. 9/7/6/7/8/6
