Bottle from a Tallinn supermarket. Poured a murky light brown with a frothy white head and plenty of bubbles. The aroma is big yeast, grain, citrus. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a mineral, earthy, roasted coffee, grassy, spice hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. This beer was certainly unusual. It looks awful but the aroma is interesting and there was a lot going on later on. Many people will find the look off-putting, but put on a mask and keep drinking. It’s quite special.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - batch 043 - BB 28/12/2014, at Drink Baar, 20140715) The beer poured brown and somewhat cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, malts and molasses. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, malts, molasses, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, hoppy and bitter. A good malt-forward hoppy brew.

Hazy firery red brown color. Tons of rye in the nose, a touch of plastic. Fairly full mouth with tons of rye. I mean tons of rye. Very very big. Tons of rye in the finish. The rye is over powering. Not bad, but think this could be refined a bit more.

0,33L bottle. batch 023. Pours hazy brown with very small off white head. Aroma is intense rye. Taste: intense rye, grapefruit bitter with some pine thrown in, malt, and sweetness in the back. Finish is grapefruit bitter with some alcohol burn. Overall: nice one, like hoppy kvass (intense rye always reminds me kvass).
