Bottle at the source. Has a hazy straw colour with an off-white head. Aroma of banana, grass, wheat and cloves. Flavour of grass, banana, flowers and some chlorine. Has a slick mouth feel, light body and a soft bitterness. Decent but a little unbalanced.

330 ml bottle, from Lilland's off-licence. ABV is 4.7%. The glass fills completely by white foam, and the hazy golden beer appears only slowly. Aroma of yeast (far too yeasty), also notes of wheat and cloves. The flavour is also too yeasty, and moderately citric, notes of grain, hints of cloves. Still drinkable. Banana, yeast and grain in the aftertaste.

Bottle, at the brewpub. It’s an unclear orange-golden colored beer with a small white head leaving some curtains. The aroma is malty and grassy, with banana and some caramel. Some light yeast and clove notes too. It’s medium bodied and effervescent on the palate, quite dry, with a light bitterness. Fruity, malty aroma with grass, banana and some orange. Hints of caramel, yeast and cloves in the back. Some grassy notes too, more evident in the finish than the initial flavor. A decent, drinkable Weiss, but not a beer I’m eager to have again. 220812
