On tap at Borefts 2022. Clear dark ruby colour lasting tan head. some medicinal ginger on aroma. ginger is a little over the top. yes not great to be honest. bit medicinal

On tap at Borefts Pours a dark brown with moderate head. Aromas of ginger, citrus and bready malts. Flavors of gingerbread just as advertised, along with bready malts. Simple.

Op tap bij Borefts '22. Lichtbruine kleur, beige kraag. Veel koekkruiden, smaakt volledig als een slappe kruidige bock, moutig, donker fruit, waterig, kruidig. Medium body op zn best.

Tap. Brown color with beige head. Aroma is gingerbread indeed, prunes, raisins. Taste is the same, a bit herbal/ethereal. Oily mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Good!

Sampled @ Borefts Bier Festival 2022. A clear orange brown beer. Aroma of ginger, cin3, strong reddish brown malt. Taste of intense gingerbread, strong red malt, anis.

There's ginger allright, shame that. Pretty sharp, very spicy/herbal, and not much quadyness. I suppose they managed to do what they wanted, but I'd have liked it to be more caramelly malty, with a touch of spices. Still, not bad.

Clear brown beer, big solid creamy beige head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: spicy, lots and lots of cloves, alcohol is very noticeable, a gentle roast, pretty oxidized, nutmeg and banana peel. Not bad, not great. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: a bit sweet up front, soft roast, alcohol, spicy. Aftertaste: rather bitter, dry, spicy, some cloves, caramel notes, ok, but not great. Lacks some body for a quad.
