From tap at Borefts 2022. Aroma is chocolate with roasted malt, coffee, cocoa, caramel chocolate syrup. Medium sweet, roasty bitter. Fairly rich, choco, light sticky.

Aus der Flasche im Sommer 2023 getrunken. Dieses dunkle Stout kommt mit kräftigen Röstaromen von Dunkler Schokolade und Mokka daher, die von einer kräftigen Süße ausbalanciert werden. Der Körper ist recht mächtig und die Konsistenz ist dadurch gefühlt leicht dickflüssig.

Bottle picked up from Drankgigant.nl webshop, Vlissingen, Netherlands and consumed at home Sunday 15th October in the company of Craig and Stella. We went out for a short drive to our local Gasthof zum Sonnenwald and an old brewery (no longer brews) in Zenting, listening to Beirut - Riptide, we had Souvlaki for tea tonight. Pours oily black with a fast disappearing head, not sure what colour is was. Lots of black treacle on the nose, very thick oily mouthfeel, heavy and a little bit boozy. Not really picking up much pumpkin seeds. A big molasses hit lends a big sweetness to this. Good but another beer where I was hoping for more.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, whiskey, pumpkinseed and wood. Pours pitch black color with thin quickly diminishing brown head and poor lacing. Taste starts with sweet and rich roasted malt, chocolate and licorice, following is earthy, mouthfeel is smooth, warm and mild spicy, while finish is average bitter. Full body, thick texture and average carbonation in palate. I wanna be seedated…

Draught@TCBW2022. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, some nutty tones, liquorice and mild tobaccoish elements. Flavour is liquorice, some nutty tones, roasted elements with some toffee and ashes as well.

Bottled 330ml. -at Goblet Zagreb, shared with hrabren. Pitch black coloured, small to medium sized brownish head, light roasty nose. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, noticable pumpkin seeds, nutty and noticable alcohol with mild roasty finish.

0.33 l bottle shared with Ogi. Dark brown to black, small beige head. Rich malty, molasses, chocolate, toasted pumpkin seeds weirdly present. Brandy underneath, orange peel. Full body, thick, sticky. A bit too sweet. Roasty, spicy, molasses, liqueur. Finish is gentle, round, some toasty and roasty bitterness.
