Can at home shared with Laura. Opaque black color, huge sized brown head. Smell and taste are malts, roastiness a bit, light peat, malty bitters a bit and a nice boozy influence. Solid brew, quite alright.

Borefts XII. Day 1. Light haze on this deep reddish amber beer, decent pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, good fine carbonation. The thin dark malts carry a good dark chocolate. The BBA is light but provides robust Bourbon barrel fruits and a little spice. Finishes light and semi dry Yeah there has been a million bbas but this is still a good one.

Tap. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is bourbon juice, caramel fudge, chocolate. Taste is the same, a bit roasty almost salty even. Mild warming finish in the back. Creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation.

Sampled @ Borefts Bier Festival 2022. A black beer with a tan head. Aroma of sweet strong dark malt, chocolate, caramel. Taste of sweet strong dark malt, caramel, chocolate, wood. Good.

Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy beige head, stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: good roast, malty backbone, some coffee, vanilla, caramel, chocolate notes. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots of alcohol, bitter roast, chocolate notes, coffee, cocoa powder, bitter hops as well, dry. Aftertaste: quite a bit of alcohol burn in the throat, sweet, chocolate, dry spicy, some gingerbread notes, alcoholic finish. Not bad!
