Oak aged in white wine barrels for 4 months we then carefully blended back with a small percentage of fresh beer and very lightly dryhopped and conditioned for a further 4 weeks.
Packaged unfiltered, the beer has a robust body, slight acidity, and a hint of toasted oak character, with layers of honey, a touch of malty sweetness and slight wisps of white wine.
Refreshing, elegant & refined.

From tap at Borefts 2022. Grassy and oaky aroma, with vanilla from the barrel. Grain, grape, noble hop. Lightly herbal, fine oak aging complexity on a Pilsener.

Pale blond colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have some pale malts. Also some vanilla and a little white wine sharpness.

Op tap bij Borefts '22. Goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Vanille, druif, wat plastic, licht moutig, hint van rubber, citroenschil, bitter. Lichte body. Leuk idee, jammer van de brouwfoutjes.

Tap. Unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is quite white vineous, a bit grassy, cereals, good character. Taste is again white wine barrel funk, a bit grapey even, some earthy-old-schooly hops, not too bitter either, but definite Pils character there. Oily mouthfeel, natural carbonation. Solid!

Sampled @ Borefts Bier Festival 2022. A clear yellow golden beer. Aroma of mild sweet pale malt, wood. Taste of pale malt, mild sweet pale malt, wood.

Clear deep gold beer, small creamy white head. Aroma: butter, fruity, tropical fruits, citrus, grapefruit, diacetyl. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, a bit sourish, fruity, hoppy, grapefruit, lot of citrus, a bit sourish. Aftertaste: lemony, bitter, some diacetyl, fruity, melons, ok but not great. Don’t like diacetyl.

Süffiger, moderat bitterer Beginn. Getreidig-würzig, helles Malz, unspannend angesichts der Herstellung. 8/9/8/9//8

Interesting interpretation of a pilsner. Somewhat sharp somehow, bit too much carbonation for me. Flavourwise it's a bit soft sweet, really getting the white wine here. Also plenty of oak. Different, but tasty! And no rats.
