Appearance: clear chestnut brown with a tall ivory-coloured head of good retention. Aroma: toasted malt, dried apples and pears, distant coffee. Taste: light swee and bitter. Toasted, burnt bread, dried fruits, spicy hop, a hint of coffee. Mouth feel: med minus body, average carbonation. Overall: not bad.

Sehr ordentliche 5,7 % Alk.

Bottle. Clear reddish-amber color with beige head. Aroma is caramel, nutty, earthy. Taste is caramel, quite juicy, on the sweet side, but not too much. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Good!

Bottle from The Trembling Madness. Pours a slightly hazy caramel brown colour with a medium sized fast dissipating throthy beige head. Aromas of caramel, burnt toasty brown bread and a little dry dark fruit. Taste has the same notes again with added roasted malts, nuts and molasses. Sweetish finish. Thinnish body, fair carbonation and oily mouthfeel. Slightly above average Dunkel. Not bad.

Bottle picked up from Rewe Getränkemarkt, Zolling and consumed at home Monday 27th September 2021 listening to Tom Ravenscroft on 6 Music after having a Spicy Butternut Squash and Potato Soup. Pours hazy brown with an off white head. Bready and malty on the nose, there is some fruit but I don't know what. Taste also similar as aroma, it's also caramel and light graininess. It's okay.

Bottle (5.7%) from House Of Trembling Madness. Clear amber/brown with a beige head. Steady carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of fig and brown sugar. Flavour of stewed tea and caramel. Thin to medium body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. An excellent beer, great depth of flavour.
