Amberkleurig bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht bitterzoet en kruidig met iets van hout, wat karamel, stroop en geroosterd brood. Heel fijn bier.

500ml bottle. Clear copper with a fluffy head. Very malty and a lot of caramel, walnut, hazelnut, zesty citrus notes. Malty sweetness with a good dry hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry zesty malty sweet bitter finish. A remarkable Amber Lager of Franconian quality. Well basically this brewery is even located somewhat in Franconia, therefore they know.

Liquid autumn color. Very earthy nose with noble hops and chocolate malts. Smooth mouth, low bitterness good chocolate malt character. Overall smooth, but doesn’t have amazing depth.

1 pint bottle purchased at Julio's Liquors. Color shows a clear Amber with full foamy white head. Aroma is mildly malty, nuts, toffee, molasses hints. Is this dark enough to be a Dunkel ? Ummm maybe not. The body and texture leans on the watery side. Weak cereal grain finish. Goes down easy enough. But looking for a tad more character.
