0.33 l can from the brewery's web shop, best before January 2025. Slightly hazy, deep orangeish amber with a thin, frothy, quickly collapsing, white head. Sweetish, quite boozy, gently fruity-resiny aroma of orange jam, pine, honey, bourbon and molasses. Rather sweet, malty, gently fruity-resiny, very boozy taste of bourbon, orange jam, pine, molasses, honey and loads of alcohol, followed by a long, extremely boozy, peppery and harsh finish. Full body, slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Waaayyy too boozy, quite unexpected for 'only' 12% abv, the alcohol kills all other flavours, tastes like a cheap strong lager. Have had much better freeze-distilled IPA's, namely from Uiltje and Freigeist.

330 ml can. Pours a copper colour with light fizzy head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of jammy smashed fruit, golden raisins, dull orange and caramel malts. Flavors of fruity alcohol and doughy malts. Hot. Almost sticky…

Tap. Unclear deep amber color with white head. Aroma is resinous, piney, not too fruity. Taste is however candied fruits, hoppy, mild bitterness, and a booze burn in the back. Oily mouthfeel, low carbonation. Heavy stuff, but not bad by any means.

Kees brought another! Not as brilliant, those freeze distilled IPA's often feel a bit weird. Very boozy, alcohol is way more noticable here. Sweet, of course, bit too much, but with a slight bitterness hiding underneath.

23/IX/22 - on tap @ Borefts Day 1, BB: n/a (2022-1229) Thanks to all for sharing today’s beers!

Clear to little cloudy orange beer, practically no head. Aroma: malty, lots of alcohol, boozy, vanilla, soft roasty touch, lots of alcohol, malty, grains. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: alcohol, a bit fruity, caramel notes, alcohol, lots and lots of alcohol, quite some ripe to overripe banana as well. Aftertaste: very sweet, sugary, lots of alcohol, too much alcohol to be good. A gimmick, but that’s about it then.
