Leicht süß – sanft und rund im Nachtrunk: Dieses bodenständige Rotbier mit ausgeprägtem Malzaroma verdankt seine dezente Karamellnote der Verwendung ausgesuchter Spezialmalze.

Bottle: Clear, amber coloured, rather creamy, small off-white head; robust sweet dark-malty, nutty, caramelly nose; sweetish (malty) flavour, light to medium bodied; sweetish-malty finish with a nutty tinge and a touch of molasses, delicate (roast-)bitterness in the aftertaste. A pleasant, tasty Dunkles...!

(bottle) Clear, copper colour with a beautiful and stable off-white foamy head. Sweet toast-malty aroma with aspects of dark bread, caramel and herbal hops. Sweet flavour, medium to light body, crispy carbonation. Toast-malty, bready taste with caramel and a touch of honey; medium-dry, soft malty, slightly bitter and hoppy finish with an aromatic length. A fine Landbier.

An amber beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel - and so is the flavor, but there are also some odd notes, that I can’t pinpoint, but they don’t suit me so well.

(Bottle 50 cl) Dark amber-coloured, slightly off-white head. Surprisingly high carbonation. I would normally expect a light caramel-sweetness in a beer of this type. But here I find a rather harsh hoppiness. Slightly disappointing. 270405

Bottle. Strong molasses (sorghum) malt aroma. Medium tan clear color with small head. Sweet malt with hint of caramel - not too strong. Decent body and higher carbonation than typical Landbier.

A bit hard to shoehorn, could be a dark Vienna as well. Fruity malty nose with a bit toast. Orange amber color, little visible carbonation, nice frothy head. Soft fruity malt flavors dominate, a tad nutty, dry hops towards the end. Creamy mouthfeel, slightly flat. Nourishing.
