Ein weiteres Bier unserer Oak Reserve Reihe mit einem Potpourri aus reifen Früchten, Vanille und Rotwein. Hergestellt durch ein zweifaches Reifeverfahren. Durch die Lagerung im Rotwein-Barriquefass erhält dieses Bier die Finesse der Spätburgundertraube und dezente Anklänge von Vanillearomen. Es entsteht eine einzigartige, elegante Rotweinaromatik, die mit den süßen Malznoten des Bieres eine harmonische Liaison eingeht.

Hazy orange color, small white head. Oak and vanilla in the nose. Full-bodied. Very sweet front, berries, vanilla then dry woody oak. Alcohol. Not very balanced although ok dessert beer.

Pours dark orange with a foamy head. Aroma of malts, some caramel, vanilla, oak, hints of berries. Taste is sweetish and malty with caramel, vanilla, hints of oak and berries. Smooth finish with hints of vanilla and caramely oak. Quite well balanced, sweetish ale.

Bottled@vPBF2012. Hazy orange colour, mediumsized beige foamy head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, floral and some mild alcohol with spices. Flavour is sweet malts, some mild alcohol, caramel and mild yeastyness.

Bottle 375ml.Unclear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, fruity, berry, wood, vanilla, soured milk notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, fruity, vanilla, berry - red wine. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20120324]

Cloudy golden color. The aroma is nice, distinct oak, but also light fruity sourness that blends well, and light sweat. Good body strength, malt flavor, quite sweet, soft, with light sourness, light astringency, some fruitiness, correct bitterness, some vanilla; the alcohol is well hidden. Very interesting.

Bottle @ Miss January / AA Meeting Afterparty Tasting, March 2012. Thanks Alex/Thomas. Pours hazy orange with a creamy head and lacings. Sweet nose. Heavy alcohol, oak, berries and vanilla. Smooth and full bodied.
