The amber-colored beer with aromas of tropical fruits and flowers has a slight sweetness in the first taste, which is followed by a strong bitterness. The beer, with its high alcohol content, was originally brewed especially for the long journey of emigrants to the USA.

Flaska från Bierothek. Disig gulorange vätska med medelhögt smutsvitt skum. Syltig doft och smak. Stor söt kropp. Syrlig citrus, söta torkade aprikoser, apelsinmarmelad, kåda. Väldigt söt, klassisk vädtkust-dipa till smakbilden men lätt beska. Trevlig

Bottle. Opaque dark orange featuring a small and short-lived white head. It may be ugly but I’m feeling fine. Aroma of resin, pine and citrus fruits. Taste of malts, grapefruits, oranges, pine, resin, orange jam and caramel. Strong and lasting bitterness. Medium carbonation. Thick mouthfeel, feels like munching on stewed fruits. Lovely. Holds up well against all the garlic, chili and ginger I chopped beforehand.

Bottle picked up from Brauhaus Faust webshop, Miltenberg and consumed at home Easter Monday 5th April 2021 listening to Dry Cleaning - New Long Leg. We're cooking Greek Village Sausage (starter) and Pastitsio. Pours first amber with a white head, very soft mouthfeel, nice citrus, a little resinous touch, dry finish, taste is a nod towards a US style DIPA, malty (crystal?). A very decent stab at an Imperial IPA, nicely bitter throughout

Beer from an online shop, drunk while my Congress is trying an ex president for inciting insurrection. Yep that's how 2021 started folks. Hazy gold, very nice creamy head. Nose is pretty old style West Coast with a nice touch of medium-dark caramel. Very pine-resiny on the tongue, big lasting AIPA bitterness. Some hints that remind me of Weizenbock, and maybe not wrong as I see Weizen in the ingredients. Pretty interesting imperial!

Colour clear deep amber, very fine bubbles, stable moussy off-white head, a thick foam layer remains, good lacing. Aroma strong toasted malt, caramel, orange marmalade, resinous hops. Complex taste, medium sweet and bitter, malty, caramel, orange marmalade, ripe fruits, quite resinous. Medium to full body, oily to creamy texture, soft carbonation, taste lingers on in the rich sweetbitter aftertaste, malty and resinous, great beer, very good indeed.
