This is our Imperial Russian Stout aged in Oak Bourbon Barrels. It has notes of chocolate, dark fruit, licorice, and warmth from the barrels.

Can from Drafting Table. Pours a pitch black with a finger of brown foam that lingers. Big dark chocolate focused nose with bourbon, oak and treacle aromas. Big chewy and velvety mouthfeel with lots of body. More dark chocolate, cacao nib and notes of bourbon, tobacco and some earthiness in there. Really good stuff from DT. Glad to see they put this base in barrels.
