Golden yellow in the glass, white head. The aroma offers earthy grain notes, subtle hints of peach, rhubarb, and fresh hazelnuts. On the palate, a light body follows, which, along with the mild carbonation, makes the elegant brew particularly drinkable. This is followed by a malty richness with a slightly peppery finish. An uncomplicated, versatile, and exceptionally well-balanced beer.

Bottle. It’s a clear, golden beer topped by a small, white head. Weak nose with pale malts and some fruityness. Lightly spiced, grassy flavor with some bitterness. Medium to thin on the palate, quite dry, and with a little bitterness in the end. A superbly uninteresting beer, there’s some lighlty unpleasant notes too. 121110

Bottled@Monks Café Sveavägen, Stockholm. Yellowish golden colour with a small white fluffy head. Aroma is sweet and bready malts along with some grassyness and herbal notes. Flavour is rather similar in a smooth balance. Slight nice grassy bitterness in the finish. This tastes like your average Helles.

Ein Bier, das es schon länger gibt und sich neben den klassischen Industriebieren auch im Supermarkt etabliert hat. Es ist ein klassisches Lagerbier, das aber biologisch hergestellt wurde und dazu einen handwerklichen Charakter zeigt. Es ist schön süffig und lädt zum weiteren Trinken ein. Ein Bier für den klassischen Lager-Trinker, aber auch für jene, die sich über einen eigenen charakteristischen Biergeschmack freuen können.

Clear golden color, small white head. Grainy and a bit sweetish fryity, apple aroma. Light-bodied. Flavor similar to aroma: sweetish grainy taste. Certainly organic & speciality grain feeling here. A bit fruity too. Low bitterness. This is not Zwickel, I would classify this Speciality Grain or Helles.

Picked this up at the large Spar at Europark, Salzburg, Austria consumed at camping Knauss, Nuremberg, Germany, Tuesday 5th June 2012 Clear gold, bright with a small white head. Clean tasting, a little sweetness, seems an ok lager type beer, soft carbonation touch of light cereal but quite subtle. Likeable if not so exviting lager. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2
