Twa Dogs brewery and Bilston Creek farm proudly present this deliciously unique lavender saison. Sweet malts and Bilson Creek farm’s island-grown lavender are combined with Moroccan orange to create notes of warming spices and honey.. Wheat and rye malts are used to support a special Lithuanian farmhouse ale yeast, for an added layer of juicy tropical fruit and aromatics from the farm, to the brewery, to you; this ale is as fresh as it gets.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7

473ml can. Pours a hazy orange amber with a small, foamy, short lived, beige head that laces nicely. Slightly spicy aroma of rye malt, orange and lavender. Sweet, spicy flavour of rye malt, honey, orange, lavender and herbal hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and average carbonation. Not normally a fan of lavender, but it works well here. Pretty tasty.

A hazed dark amber saison with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light lavender notes, grassy hops, light cereals. In mouth, sweet fruity malt with light coriander, fruity esters, light spices, OK. On tap at brewery.
