Bottle at home. Opaque pitch black color, decent sized tan to light brown colored head. Aroma is heavy bourbon, malts, brown malts, flavor are malts, soft roast, malty bitter, bourbon clearly, nice dark malt notes. The finish and aftertaste are dark malts, bourbon and malt bitter. Awesome balance. Absolutely superb beer. Great balance, great barrel aging, amazing beer. Boy oh boy.

75cl bottle. PBF XIII. Poured black in color. Malty sweetness, syrup, toastedness, mild wood and bourbon. Nicely balanced. Nice drinkable for the abv.

Opaque colour, small beige head. Toasted aroma, some boubon in the nose. Medium-bodied. Semi-sweet toasted malts, liquorice, vanilla, bourbon. Smooth and balanced.

Bottle@PBF XIII. Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is toffee, some mild wood, floral and mild herbal tones with a bit roast. Flavour is roasted malts, some slight alcohol, toffee and chocolate syrup to it. Still rather smooth to drink.

--Bottled at PBF XIII. -- Black, small beige head. Aroma of licorice and crude oil. Sweet with full to massive body and rounded mouthfeel. Treacle and licorice, asphalt and coffee. Peppery bitter finish with faint oaky notes. Big and bold.

Black with a brown head - Dark malt aroma with wood barrel and bourbon aroma - Dark malt body with bourbon barrle flavours with torched wood and some alcohol heat - Dark malt flavours with some chocolate wood and bourbon goes into the finish - This was good

Bottle, huge thanks Papsoe! Shared with the Ravenfest crew. Bourbon barrel, bitterish, raisiny aroma. lovely maltiness, light tannins. Sweetish raisiny malty taste, vague carob, quite pleasant, with very well hidden alcohol, creamy, oaty, excellent really!
