In this beer I have used only light and light brewing malts. This gives a wonderfully fresh and malty beer experience that brings to mind the newly harvested cornfield and the arrival of autumn. It is a perfect companion for the harvest festival, the Oktoberfest, or just for a quiet moment. Brewmaster - Casper Møller

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a creamy and white head. Aroma is butterish and light malty. Mild citrusy, light butterish from back of the nose. Rather dry and bitter with a light toasted malt base. Leaving a rather bitter and dry finish. Mild fruity throughout and with the butterish notes deminishing after a few sips.
Earlier Rating: 10/12/2008 Total Score: 3.2
From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Mild brewmash malty with a mild caramel malty note. Mild fruity flavour with a mild caramelish to breadish base flavour. Lingering fruity finish with a mild bitterness. Untraditional oktoberfest, but nice.

Growler. A hazy amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, metal, and straw, leading to a dry finish.
Earlier Rating: 10/13/2005 Total Score: 2.6
A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is yeasty combined with notes of citrus, oranges, and caraway seeds. The flavor sweet with strong citrus notes - especially oranges, but also with notes of wood and yeast, with a dry end and a woody after taste. The mouthfeel is thin, and the flavor boring.

Draught at the brewpub
Beautiful hazy amber color, creamy head. It has some caramel flavor, medium body, a nutty character but also some vegetables due to the fermentation or lagering, and all this hides what appears to be a good but light hopping. The final is better, with bitter almonds.
