dark golden colour, quickly disappearing white head; taste is dominated by malty sweetness with some sour background and bitter aftertaste; correct pilsener

Can. Pours clear golden with airy white head. Faint aroma of hop. Slightly hitter taste of hop and yeast. Bitter finish. OK but not a revelation.

Green 33cl bottle with a different label and foil to the one in the picture, but the same beer for sure. Best before 29 Sept 2010, this beer was drank and reviewed on 03 Aug 2010, poured into a small (0.2 litre) tasting glass from Budweiser Budvar. Looked fine, crisp, clear and bright. The regular pilsner/lager golden yellow colour, with the snow white head on top. The head soon died though, on both pours. Grains in the smell, but not much else and not many grains either. Dry and refreshing, a little more hoppy than malty, but not strong tasting in any form or style. A Mr Average in most aspects and I’ll not be putting it on my Christmas list.

Bottle. Yellow colour with a white head. Light malt aroma. Unusual light flavour for being a bohemian pilsner, light malty and light hoppy.
