Rich pale malt flavors provide a solid base for zesty Styrian Golding and Czech Saaz hopping. Trappist ale yeast contributes the fruity, spicy profile of classic, monk-brewed, Belgian ales. Our Trippel is luscious, fiery, golden brew and a contemporary rendition of traditional Belgian Trippel.

From 75 cL bottle. pours slight hazy orange, with a white head. Spiced aroma. Spiced/yeasty flavoured. Sweet and alcohol flavoured. Finish is strong spice.6-3-6-3-12=3.0
From tap at the brewery. Pours slight cloudy orange with a lacing white head. Mild spiced and caramel malty aroma. Spiced yet smooth caramel malty. A bit too spiced for my liking. Ends spiced and slight caramel malt flavour. Light estery yeasty note. Spiced lingering finish.6-3-6-3-12=3.0

(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of Storm. Pours an almost clear amber golden with a tall, dense, white head. Aroma of yeast and fruit. Fairly full in body with very sweetish fruit notes, some alcohol and a very distinct yeasty accent. 290607

Double-deuce at wine frig temp. Delicious aroma of spicy hop and a light touch of ripe fruit - peach, pear... Nice hazy amber color; bits of yeast in suspension. Nice white head that lessened, but stayed, and did some fine lacing. Starts a bit spicy, then did some complex altering impressions of spice and ripe fruit. Very smooth. Nice mouthfeel. The spice carries into the finish, and finally some bitter arrives. Real ale. Real tasty. Better than a whole lot of Belgians. Funny thing - what jarspag said below - the underlying alcohol effect is something like a malt liquor - thankfully this brewer used some decent yeast and hop in abundance.

Bottle from Country Club Liquors; nose of wheat, caramel, cloves and spices; lightly hazy pale copper with a good yellowish head; flavor of bananas, cloves, caramel, and breadiness. Pretty good tripel!

Bottle, at csbosox KC tasting 4/14. Bottle provided by csbosox, thanks Chris! Pour is cloudy straw yellow. Smallish off-white head. Taste is malt, yeast and hop in that order. There are also banana and clove in there as well. After taste sticks around just a touch too long for me.

22 oz bomber. Hazy yellow to orange color with off white head. The aroma was sweet sugar and lots of hops. Interesting flavor. A bit too bright at the sweet and hoppy ends of the palate spectrum. The sweetness is slightly fruity and candy sugar. The hops are pine and grass. The mixture of flavor notes donβt work together too well. I get an odd tartness in the after taste. Overall it was a bit disappointing.

An orange beer with an orange head. The aroma is very hoppy and grassy, and also has notes of yeast. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of yeast and light notes of coriander. I is weird how hoppy the aroma is - both for the style and compared to the flavor.

Bottle. Orfange amber beer with an off-white head. Yeasty, orange aroma. Yeasty, estery flavor with some lemon/orange and spice. Earthy finish. Slight alcohol presence. Creamy mouthfeel. Eands with a bit of huskiness that otherwise takes away from a decent beer (just nothing special).
