Can shared in Canary Wharf - cheers to Cloin. Pours black-brown with a creamy tan head. Medium to big sweet flavour, light plastic, earth, burnt sugars. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, sweet, ashy, slight burnt plastic. So so.

Can shared at the Columbus tasting 22/06/2023. Thanks to Colin. A opaque black brown coloured pour with a halo of dark black . Aroma is salty roast, black, brown sugars, ashy, salted caramel, . light tang. Palate is medium sweet, oily, brown sugars, tangy. ok.

6th Floor bottleshare with the usual suspects. Thanks to Cloin. Opaque dark brown beer, decent tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, good rich dark chocolate, some dark chocolate cream. A little milk chocolate where the vanilla intersects. Tidy.

Color negro con espuma de color tostado, duración corta. Aroma a maltas asadas, chocolate negro y algo de regaliz. Sabor con leve dulzor, maltas tostadas, chocolate, ligeramente coco. Final denso, con mucho cuerpo, sensación de calidez y algo licorosa.

On tap at Lajbah, Ljubljana. Shared with Ogi. Dark brown to black, small beige head. Toasty aroma, caramel, dark cherry, brown sugar, salted caramel, peanut, dried fruit. Sweet, red and dark fruit flavour, malts, caramel. Smooth, finishes dry.

Keg, third of a pint on 18th November 2022; Boot Micropub, Wellington Shropshire. They had three beers left from a Basqueland Tap Takeover, so I had all three as my nightcaps. This dark beauty came with a tanned coloured head and sweet smelling chocolate waffle aroma. The taste also sweet and 'waffley' in nature. A bit too sweet, even for my sweet tooth. Doesn't quite hide the alcohol.

Can from Eltham Wines. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is chocolate wafer, vanilla, cocoa, cappuccino. Taste is chocolate cake, caramel, cocoa, vanilla. Long sweet boozy finish. Delicious 😋

440ml can. Pours jet black with a large head. Aroma is sweet oily chocolate. Taste is sweet, with milk chocolate, marshmallow and alcohol. Slightly grainy.

440ml can. Pours black with a brown head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla. Taste is very chocolatey, lots of vanilla too, the waffle element isn't strong though, actually quite subtle, sweet and malty, boozy finish. Full bodied, smooth.
