Im Antrunk schwer, dicht und ölig. Zurückhaltende Rezenz.
Erinnerungen an Bienenstich (schmeckt sehr gut dazu).
Sehr schöne, vollkommen harmonierende Bittere. Geschmeidig.
Klingt lange nach. Die schwere Süße ist von der Bittere wunderbar umrahmt.

Müllerbräu Jahrtausendbock, Flasche aus dem Brauereiverkauf in Neuötting. - Altgold, blank; solide Schaumkrone. - In der Nase mächtiges, massiv sirupschweres Malz mit feiner Karamelnote aber doch gedämpfter Süße, Honig und frische krautige und orangenbittere Hopfenherbe. - Antrunk schwer aber weich malzig, solide karamellig und maßvoll süß mit Sirup, Rosinen und Waldhonig. Frische krautige und orangenbittere Hopfenherbe bildet einen fast schroffen Kontrapunkt zur schweren Malzfülle. Milder rezent, ölig schwer, sehr gut kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang runder als im Antrunk, mit nachhallender Malzschwere und gedämpfter aber immer noch aromatischer Hopfenherbe. - Sauberer, wuchtig malzschwerer aber auch entsprechend robust gehopfter Bock, ein schönes Beispiel für die etwas derb auftretenden aber grundsoliden bairischen Böcke. Bottled, from Biershop Bayern. Clear golden, small head.Malty nose with sweat bread and raisins. Sweet with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Deep bready peach brandy malt. Warming finish with low bitterness. Lovely deep malt character.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein orangegelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch intensiv malzig, würzig, fruchtig. Geschmack malzig fruchtig, leichte Würzigkeit, alkoholisch.

(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Bready cara-malty aroma with biscuity notes. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Bready and mildly biscuity (cara-)malty taste with strawy and subtle nutty hints; sweet malt-accented and slightly slim finish with traces of alcohol shining through. Still likeable, just a bit sticky pale Doppelbock. 09.XII.13

Bottle looks quite simple. Beer in the glass deep golden, nice head. Starts strong-malty, quite alcoholic, a bit sweet-moldy. Finish a bit more balanced, still strong and intense malty. Okay.

500ml bottle. Clear orangey golden color with almost no head. Sweet-ish malty aroma, hints of honey, a grainy and strawy touch. Taste is sweet malty, grainy, strawy, a touch of honey, hints of alcohol. Headache provoking, overly sweet, scarcely drinkable.
