The Black Heron Project is a passion project where we create small-batch, experimental beers that focus on and highlight local grain, local hops, and local fruit.
Down & Dirty: Mecca Grade Lamonta pale malt, raw white wheat, and rolled oats with Goldings hops and blackberries and limes.
ABV: 5.1% IBU: 5
Color: Dark red
Aroma: Raspberry, blackberry, and concord grape notes combine with lime and stone fruit with sweet aromatics.
Flavor: Moderately sweet and sour, subtle saltiness and lightly bitter in medium, refreshingly mouthwatering body
