Bottle from Garthicus, thanks! Dark amber color. Plums and grassy hops in the aroma. Malty sweet, earthy floral and grassy hopbitter flavor. Slightly alcoholic, dominant hops. Hints of oak. Very nice!

330ml bottel. Slightly cloudy, amber-ish chestnut colour with late awakening, small, thick, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, minimally sugary, caramel malty aroma, a touch of Marmite and Cointreau. Taste is spicy malty, hints of Marmite, caramel, a touch of Cointreau, green apple, some hop bitterness; well hidden alcohol. Not my cup of tea - futile high alcohol level.

New Beer Distributors, NYC bottle: pours a clear dark amber with a pretty nice off-white head. Aroma is booze, maltiness, nail polish remover, fun stuff. Taste is quite malty. Not super complex. A tad bitter. Fine but nothing outstanding. It does get you barley wine buzzed though.
