Jingle Bells is a lovely copper-coloured brown ale with tons of depth and heat. We use six different malts, all of which contribute something different to the Christmas beer, lending it great body and complexity.
Jingle Bells has a wonderful fragrance of toffee, chocolate and coffee that comes from the six different malts we used. There is also a distinctive bouquet of cinnamon and vanilla. The taste is full-bodied and warm with toffee and chocolate notes. It is topped off with notes of vanilla and cinnamon. It is, quite simply, liquid Christmas in a bottle.
All in all, it is a wonderful Christmas beer that is an excellent accompaniment to any sweet Christmas goodies.

Bottle 75cl.Clear medium amber brown color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, spicy, cinnamon, vanilla notes, moderate to light heavy cloves and cardamom. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. A bitte to stuffy sweet and spicy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20081112]

Bottle, 7%. Rough hop aroma with a sewery, bricky dustiness. Clear copper colour, small white head. The flavour is sweet and spicy, orange and cookie spices. Not bad, and probably goes well with yule food. 5 3 7 3 15
Bottle, 7%. Ten years after initial rating. Weak citric aroma, actually smells a little infected. Dark brown colour, seems clear. Big stable tan head. The flavour is also citric, perhaps infected, but the beer tastes all right. Not a sweet spicy beer. 6 3 6 3 13

Bottled (2005 vintage). Hazy dark amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is a lot of spices along with malts and cardamom. Flavour is the same, along with cinnamon and it feels like some of the alcohol is gone.

Copper brown color, small off-white head. Spicey nose: cinnamon - ginger snap aroma. Liquerish, soft palate. Cinnamon and ginger cookies also in the flavor. Not very complex, but easy to sip. Maybe 2 years in the cellar has rounded the mouthfeel.

Bottled (2005 vintage) Lightly hazy amber, rich firm head. Caramel aroma. Sweet with toffeish soft malt. Strong spicy gingernsnaps flavour. Mildly malty and evidently oxidized, which makes it more attractive and goes well with the cardamom and cloves. Mature.

Bottled(750ml). –Deep dark orange/brown coloured, small beige head. The nose is very aromatic and flowery (maybe rose hip or cornel). The taste is very spicy and sweet with notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, almond and yes, definitely Speculaas. Trully Christmas beer, not like ours that just increase alcohol volume and put nicer label.

The last of the 12 beers that survived the trip from Denmark, shared with ozujsko. Poured a nice dark brown colour, with a medium sized beige head that went away at a medium to slow pace. The nose is... candied red fruit, dog rose or cornel jam and malt. The taste is... whoa... spot on Speculaas... cinnamon, nutmeg, weak almond, weak herbs... light for the strength and relatively drinkable. I like it. It’s not a great beer, but it’s still very interesting and pleasant.
