From tap at DAVO Zwolle. Chocolate and some caramel aroma with some roast, sweet brown malt. Medium to heavy sweet with a moderate bitterness. In between an Imperial Stout and a big Brown Ale, good!

Tap at Hoppy Corner, Paris, 23rd January 23. Pours a thick black stout. Aroma is roasted malts, dark chocolate. Taste is rich, chocolate and roasted malts, light caramel. Not as sweet as I expected, which is good. Overall nice one

A deep dark stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, nice sweet chocolate malt with dark fruits, alcohol warmth , light caramel and licorice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with light caramel, alcohol warmth, light licorice, very nice. On tap at Hoppy Corner.

33cl can. A black beer with a tan head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, coffee. Taste of mid sweet strong dark malt, caramel, chocolate. Good.

Tap at True Brew (though it says Puple Moon on the sign). Darkest dark, coffee brown head. Smell is salted peanut caramel and a lot of chocolate. Soft and thick, chewy, front heavy bitter chocolate, licorice and soy, but has no clear starting point - more like a wave. Later there is long lasting bitter chocolate, and some creamy peanuts. Quite soft. Needs vanilla icecream to tune it down, and an espresso for more edge and more defined start.

Tap at the True Brew SR Tap Takeover. Black, creamy brown head. Roast, soy, licorice nose. Medium full, flan/caramel cream, heavy roast, sticky caramel and molasses, nuts, bitter roast notes, smoke, salt on the palate, rough grassy bitterhop backstop. Small glass only beer.
