Unser Alt-Bamberg Urstoff ist ein aromatisches Vollbier mit süffigem Geschmack, im Gaumen einzigartig rund und harmonisch im Nachtrunk. Es wird traditionell unter Verwendung von Caramelmalzen eingebraut und untergärig langsam vergoren. Seine hellgoldene Farbe und der würzig-frische Geruch nach Gerstenmalz versprechen ein besonderes Geschmackserlebnis. Das klassische, fränkische Bier schmeckt praktisch zu jeder Gelegenheit.

A darker yellow, slightly heavier in body that 85% of german helleses. But it's super clean, and a thick showcase of pilsner malt with a touch more hops that most to balance it all out. D&S Dresden

Bottle from kappldav. Many thanks! Clear blond colour, white foam. Bready, malty, light sweet. Easy drinkable. Nice for this style.

Bottle. Golden, low offwhite head. Earthy grainy aroma. medium body, lightly fizzy. Grainy base with a weird detergent-like note, earthy/minerally, herbal hops, dusty retronasal. Moppiges Lagerbier.

Bottled. Clear mahogany colour, mid sized head. Caramelly bready nose. Bready and caramelly, Totally non-golden, rather dark copper colour. Roasty and toasty. Mod bitter finish. I assume this is simply a label, and somebody mananged to pull a dunkel down the wrong bottle? Generic dunkel, not reallty in the vicinity of proper Bamberg stuff.

Helder lichtbruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht zoet en licht bitter met sporen van caramel, toffee en gras. Aparte doch goede smaak.

Bamberg jolly day 2 25/01/2014. Bottle in Ronny’s room i think? Golden colour, slightly hazed. Aroma is cereal, pils, nutty malts. Flavour is wet grass, dull, woody, cereals, corn flakes. Standard.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, getreidig, leicht fruchtig. Geschmack malzig würzig, getreidig, leicht fruchtig.
