Svetlé, vrchno kvasené pivo uvarené s 50%-ným podielom pšeničného a 50%-ným podielom jačmenného sladu. Vajcen (Weizen - v nemčine pšenica) má zlatožltú farbu. Pšeničný slad a špecifický druh kvasiniek mu dáva jemnú ovocnú chuť a vôňu jemne dotvorenú horkosťou žateckého chmeľu. Má vysokú penivosť a zákal spôsobený kvasinkami a vyšším obsahom bielkovín. Vajcen nájdete v našej ponuke v letnom období.

Jun ’14. A 1 l plastic bottle kindly shared by the Slovakian RB crew, thanks! It poured hazy yellow body with small compact head. Nice aroma typical for the style, showed some cloves, bubblegum, orange and touch of herbs. Promising nose turned into a fail with the flavor. It was quite sour, way too yeasty with some fine lemony and chalky notes. Medium bodied with long yeasty and orange finish. Rather simple. Quite bad for the style, although drinkable. Yeast kills it, I guess I got the most of it out of a bottle, but still...

Flaška("Výměna" s Cusem, diky!): Golden, nearly cloudy, medium-sized - slowly collapsing - off-white head; sourish wheaty nose with a tinge of hoppy bitterness and a lemony touch; moderate sourish-sweet flavour with a slight bitterness, almost medium bodied; lingering sourish-bitter finish with a balancing malty sweetness. Well crafted and complex Pšeničné pivo…

brown plastic bottle 1000ml. -brought by Slovak guys (thanks!) Hazy yellow coloured, small creamy white head, pleasant mild wheaty yeasty nose. Sweetish malty, yeasty, quite fruity and light spicy with notes of cloves. The finish is also light wheaty and fruity. Nice one.

Huge thanks to the Slovak crew! Poured a murky yellow body with a thick white head. Superb aroma, lactic, orange, yeasty, light cloves, sweetish and balanced, showcasing a good ester and phenol presence. Yay! The taste, however, is not on the same level, pleasant, sweet and yeasty, but not that complex or fruity, giving off some phenols, light fruity notes, orange mainly, and some bitterness that seems a touch off. Well, a good weizen in any case.
