Summer is easy. We do not have it for long. Some complain that not at all. Actually, Estonia’s summer is wonderful. Anyone who wants to can do it all. Divers dive and surfers surf. You can sunbathe on the sand at the beach or spend the day working at your summerhouse.
Lehe’s Summer is made for such a nice evening. This beer is easy, just like the summer itself. It does not require your complete attention but lets you calmly reflect on your active day.

Bottle. Lots of carbonation, really abundant frothy head that tops somewhat dirty orange looking liquid (OK, I did pour yeast into the glass, otherwise it would be clear). Nose is malty, some blunt metallic apple feel to it, not that fruity though, bit soapy. Taste is light, soapy-chalky feel to it, medium bitterness, light fruitiness but not really sweet. Light bitterness sin the finish. Overall easily drinkable but a bit boring at the same time. OK.

Thanks to djoeye for sharing a 330ml bottle. Pours a solid chalk white head that stayed well over a hazy golden body. Dusty hops on the nose, hints of petrol. Orange and grapefruit upfront to the flavour character, malted wheat beneath. Medium to thin bodied. Very foamy in the mouth. Standard (Tromsø 27.07.2015).

Bottle shared at the RBESG 2014, grand tasting 09/08/2014 Moncada Brewery. Thanks to Moncada for this one. Clouded yellow pour with a lasting white head. Aroma is nice sweet juicy tropical fruit. Flavour is composed of lovely crisp grains and tropical fruit, mango and lychee. Palate is very crisp and some chalky carbonation. Lingering fruity tangy . Very good, a nice little surprise.

Aroma has fruity hops, tropical fruits and some odd grainy, plastic and orange-like off-aroma with some gooseberry bush tones. Flavour has gooseberry bush, berries, nettles, apricot, peaches and some plastic. Also some menthol and mint. Feels stale. A beer of this style ought to be refreshing, but unfortunately this one isn’t that much; too much berries. Gets better towards the end of the glass though.

Bottle shared during the RBESG 2014 London Grand Tasting - Moncada Brewery. Pours clear gold with a white cream head. Not bad, some nice pithy citrus and grapefruit, dry grain, hay and biscuits. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty clean and dry on the finish, with more biscuits, some lemon rind. Very decent.

Bottle drank during RBESG; cloudy dark amber pour with a bubbly magnolia head, aroma has a hint of grapefruit, not much going on in the taste fruit, watery with only a hint of the grapefruit hop that was in the aroma.
