Bottle from Bierzwerg, Greven. Aroma is grainy malt, hay, bread, and soft notes of fruity hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and mild bitter. Body is medium with a smooth mouthfeel. Pretty good example of the style, so much better than Moosbacher Kellerbier.

Bottle from The Beer Cave. Golden body with a light haze and a thick off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of toasted bread and dried grass. Flavour of copper and lightly roasted malt. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A nice characterful lager.

0,5 l swing top bottle from Zisch, Wildeshausen. Flat cloudy orange golden with a more than one finger head. Low malty smell, little bit citrus fruity. Taste starts with pale malt, increasing citrus fruity, some hop in the background. Above average carbonation. Mid grainy bitterness to the end. Okay.

# 689; 3/2017. Dosti sladký, medový, sladový, kvasnicový. Zajímavý zpestření, ale žádnej zázrak.

Picked this up from Bayerisches Bierspezialitäten Pararadies Bienenfleiß, consumed at home Attenkirchen, Monday 18th November 2019 whilst listening to Steve Lamaqs Evening Session, cooking Celery Soup. Pours clear gold with a white head, a little sticky on the sides of the glass. Probably best not to drink this with a Caraway Shuttlebrot, as taste is rather skewed but I'll try. Aroma is malt but also quite a rustic touch. Taste also simple, soft carbonation a little flinty edge. I like this.

Swing top bottle. Orange color. Orange in the almost vinous aroma. Malty sweetish bready flavor with hints of toffee and cardboard. Not bad, but lightyears away from the real zoigl.
