Bottle. A clear, copper colored beer with a nice beige head. Sweet and malty nose with caramel, roast and some hops. The same goes for the flavor, but there’s some alcohol present as well. Full body and a sweet and malty finish with some alcohol. Nice doppelbock. (070413)

2011-04-25, draught at Zwölf Apostel, Worms, 6-4-7-3-13=33
Dark amber to brown color; creamy head. The aroma of caramel is oxidized, with some glue. Good body strength, with round mouthfeel; caramel flavor, with a light touch of apples and oxidization; correct bitterness, with an ending light sweetness and nutty touch. Simple but drinkable.

2006-07-17, bottle, 6-3-6-3-13=31
Dark amber color. The aroma is simple. Medium body structure, with some malt, crystallized caramel, some sweetness. At the end the bitterness is not too high, mostly caramel, with a warming feeling.
