Our second mixed ferm Defunkt release, this time with Nelson Sauvin & Endeavour hops. A beer that bridges the gap between modern hoppy hazy fresh pales and the original IPA from centuries ago, this beer has been generously hopped with Nelson Sauvin on the hot side and dry hopped with Endeavour right before packaging in December 2021 after resting in barrels for 14 months. 9 months on from then? The beer is less sour than what you may expect from our beers and instead an inviting funk from the fading hops remains.

On tap at the brewery. Cloudy orange with small white head. Malty, some funk, light fruity notes, some tartness, bitterish finish.

Pretty clear orange beer, small creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very floral, earthy notes, a little dank, juicy, fruity. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: weird, very unpleasant bitterness, juicy, dry, soapy, some tannins, mouth puckering bitterness. Aftertaste: juicy, lots of citrus, grapefruit, a little bitter, dry, meh.
