(swing top bottle) Slightly hazy, deep golden to light-amber colour with a loose and slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly yeasty and nutty cara-malty aroma with notes of citric and slightly floral hops. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Caramel-malty and minimal bready taste with subtle fruity notes; moderately dry and shy bitter finish with a delicate hops character. 06.VI.10

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy golden with tiny floting impurities and a dense off-white head. Sweet malty nose with quite some caramel. Medium body, a little low in carbonation, sweet malts and caramel with an extremely sweet finish. 180110

Bottle that I picked up at The Dodgi Deli, Cowley Rd, 09-10-09 consumed the same day. Pours amber slight haze, not much of a head but what there is white. Nice maltiness but there is a slight nod to a UK bitter, touch of Oxo on the nose. Another nice Dentleiner beer. A7 A2 F7 P4 Ov14 3.4

Bottle, Carringtons, Chorlton. Poured a murky bronze colour, with a rapidly diminishing off white head that faded to nowt. Interesting aroma that had notes of bread, fruit, white pepper and sweet malt. Could be I’m just not sold on this style but the flavour didn’t do an awful lot for me. Malty and a bit heavy, I didn’t take to the breadiness; with not much happening in the finish either. Its not particularly offensive, just not my thing.
