Can (from drinkonline). Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is coffee, some roasted tones, mild chocolate as well as some toasted and nutty tones. Flavour is nutty, dark chocolaty, some ashes and mild roasted tones with some smooth, but rather mild coffee tones.

Brownish colour, small beige head. Roasted, coffeish aroma. Medium-bodied. Toasted, dark chocolate flavour. Coffee is less dominant in flavour than in the nose. Balanced. Ok.

A: hazy black, small, foamy, beige head.
A: espresso, fondant, chestnut, pecan, bay leaf.
T: sweetish fig & raisin, dark chocolate, bitter coffee.
F: herbal & earthy hops, creamy espresso, warming brandy-like alcohol.
P: medium to full body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
Intense coffee but drinkable.

Svart med lys brunt skum. Lukter kaffe, søt lakris og havre. Middels fylde. Maltig, søt. Smaker kaffe, mørk sirup og noe nøtter. Middels lang.

330 ml can, as Põhjala Must Kuld Paper Mill Coffee Porter, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7.8%. Black colour. large to moderate creamy tan head. Aroma of coffee and roast malts, hints of dark chocolate and liquorice. Sweet and malty flavour, notes of sweetened coffee, roast malts and dark chocolate. Moderate bittering hops.

Can @ home. Clear, deep, brown, almost black body under a moderate sized tan head. Lots of coffee in aroma together with dark malt and dark chocolate. Taste is medium sweet, roasted dark malt, licorices, some dark chocolate, alcohol and quite much coffee. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste bringing the bitter coffee flavor even more dominating. Nice, but perhaps a bit too much coffee flavor, at least when it heats up a bit in the glass.

Telfords 080324. Black color with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, licorice, chocolate. Flavor is roasted malt, coffee, alcohol, dried fruit, licorice, chocolate. Powerful beer.

Can, at Telfords. It's an almost black one, with a small off-white head. Some curtains. The aroma has roasted malts and coffee, licorice and chocolate notes. It's full bodied and semi-dry on the palate, with a soft carbonation. Roasted malts, coffee, licorice and chocolate flavor with some dark dried fruit kicking in towards the lasting finish. Sure a pleasant one, although I'd wish for more coffee focus. 240308

Can shared, black beer, small head. Aroma is roast, coffee, malt. Taste is the same, roast, bitter, malt, coffee, chocolate. Very good.
