Black with a medium sized foamy tan head. Toasty with maple, caramel and bourbon. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

Purchased at Total Wine in Tampa, FL. Pitch black, moderately thick consistency, light off white rim, smells like maple syrup and chocolate, very boozy in the back end with bourbon and coffee notes. More punchy than others in the style, but that's kind of to be expected, so I think I'm into it.

Bourbon, maple syrup, chocolate malt, and hay aroma. Black with small tan head. Very sweet maple syrup, chocolate malt, and moderately bitter hay and alcohol flavor. Good body. Very boozy.

Near black pour with virtually no head. The aroma is of bourbon, chocolate, maple, and malt. The flavor is very sweet with bourbon, maple, roast malt, chocolate and some alcohol. Full bodied and very good, it’s a bit too sweet but to be fair I’d expect an aged imperial stout with maple syrup to be quite sweet.
