Bottle from Tbone, thanks! Pale amber color. Malty bready aroma. Medium to full bodied. Malty bready flavor with hints of toffee and some vinous notes. Some grassy hops showing up in the aftertaste. Very Bavarian and well done!

(Draught at Villi Wäinö, 20130103) The beer poured brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and very lightly brown. Aroma had caramell, malts and diacetyl. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, sweetness, diacetyl, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A fairly unbalanced brew and the diacetyl was clearly not a good thing in this one.

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm, 7 Dec 2012) Brownish amber colour with dense, off-white head. Malty, slightly roasted nose with notes of toast, dried fruit and crisp-bread. Malty, slightly roasted taste with dark bread, dried fruit, raisins and a light, spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Quite enjoyable.

Sharp taste. Doesn’t get better over time. (This beer rating was imported from FB and unfortunately lacks any further comments.)

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It pours a nice-looking clear, amber body and a small, firm off-white head. The aroma has a pleasant, subtle blend of hops and pale malts, hints of caramel chimes in. The flavor has caramel maltyness, fruits and some grains, a fine bitterness too. Medium body, smooth and dry. The finish is short, with the same flavors found initially. Not bad. 110128
