Small sample from bottle.
Poured pitch black with a thin brown head.
Strong bourbon nose, roastedness, sweet malty, heavy and warming. Slow sipper for sure but delightful.
Malm April tasting - dark sweet malty with intense sweet chocolate, lots of sweet caramel and cakey malts, full bodied, big bourbon infused kick into the malty finish, lovely. Goes great with the chocolate cake ??
The bourbon is REALLY coming out in the ‘22.

Vintage 2022. black color, small coffee colored head. smells vanilla, bourbon, soy sauce, nutty, wood, oak, whisky. nice to very nice smell. full body, light carbonation. tastes bourbon, molasses, vanilla, some sweetness, light soy sauce, bitter chocolate. finishes light to medium sweet with notes of bourbon, vanilla and molasses notes. very good one.

Bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger beige brown head that dissipates. Dark fruit, fig, prune with vanilla, oak and bourbon aromas on the nose. Warming bourbon on the palate with more dark fruit, oak and vanilla as it warms up. Maybe a bit thinner on the palate than recent vintages, but lots of complexity still. Smooth finish with warming alcohol, vanilla, oak and dark fruit.
Split 2 ways aroma is chocolate, bourbon, dark fruit. Taste follows. It's good, but glad I split one.
