Metaphase is brewed with oats and spelt for a fluffy, pillowy texture then double dry hopped with a pile of Citra & Nelson Sauvin. This killer hop combo leads to some luscious notes of orange, pineapple, papaya, & white grape with a beautifully dry finish.

Murky medium bright orange body, discontinuous cream head. Aroma sweet, juicy, and rindy with papaya, guava, stone fruits, and some mineraly notes. Well-balanced body, a blend of prickly, green, raw, somewhat dank notes and a tart-sweet tropical juice backdrop with sharp orange. Very good.

Aromas are a good blend of hop qualities with grapefruit dominating plus some resin, sweat, onion and cat pee. Flavors are similar to nose, sweet slightly edges out bitter and carbonation. Body is on the soft side with good carbonation. Nice beer.

Can from Total Wine & More, San Antonio. Cloudy yellow, small, foamy, white head. Aroma of ripe peach, papaya, melon, tangerine, white pepper, cheese, onion. Taste has sweet peach & papaya, sourish citrus over doughy & cheesy maltiness, bit spicy & dank. Floral & peppery hoppy finish, more ripe tropical fruits that are pithy & juicy; fairly well hidden alcohol. Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Quite delicious.

Pint can from Festival Northland, 10/4/22. Opaque orange, medium white head, average retention. Aroma of peppers, grapefruit. Taste is pepper, grapefruit, herbal hop, pale malt. Juicy, mild bitterness. Weird. Not bad.

Pours a hazy, lemon-peach color, with minimal head. Aroma is dank, with a green onion note, along with citrus and tropical fruit. Flavor is very dank--green onion/sharp cheese--with citrus, tropical fruit, a moderately bitter, hoppy finish. Mouthfeel seems a bit on the thin side for the style and ABV.
