Bottle from Drinks Vanuxeem, Ploegsteert, Belgium. Pours a murky chestnut brown colour with a medium thick throthy beige head. Aroma has lots of liquorice, dry dark fruits, caramel and spice. Taste again has lots of liquorice, dry dark fruits, caramel, a little more spice and lots of brown sugar on the sweet finish. Medium body and average carbonation. No balance whatsoever and too sweet for my liking. Not very good.

Stupendous beige head, after some time resembling overdue bananamilkshake, slowly releasing red-highlighted brown beer and lacerings. Spicy, wood, plywood, some chocolate, bit soupy - coriander no doubt. Bitterish, fast going over into spicy-sweet with a faint metallic tang. Dark candi sugar, bit of cinnamon. Coriander soupiness returns retronasal. Some sharp resiny bite. Warming up, (sweet) dark bread. Thick, chewy body with a creamy feel from the head; good carbonation. The Walloon omnibrewer. Trapped in its own hopeless dead ends. Txs to B & T for the box!
